Jalapeño Peppers

Some people like jalapeño peppers because they think peppers are good. But I don’t like them.

They are spicy. When I ate one my eyes started to water. Also, they make your tongue hot. They hurt your lips.

They have slimey seeds. They slide out of your mouth. Another example is, they slide off of your plate. They are nasty.

They cost a lot of money. In Mexico, they cost a lot of money. Additionally, peppers are expensive in the United States. They also cost a lot of money for my family.

Jalapeño peppers are disgusting. Some people think it’s good but it’s disgusting.

Music is Fun

When I had my six-year-old birthday party, there was a lot of music. We sounded like a city of music. That made me think that music is fun.

Music is fun for me because I learned instruments. My sister taught me the flute by singing a song. My sister taught me the drums by first playing the drum and then I could play. I learned the guitar from my friends.

I sing with my friends. One day I sang with my friends. I want to keep singing with my friends. Also I will practice my singing.

Music is fun because I can have a party with music. I have a party in my house and we will sing up on stage with my friends. I will not be bored with my friends. We could have fun singing at the party.

Music is exciting for me. Some people say people say music is not fun, but I know it is. When I grow up, I’ll still think music is fun because some adults think music is fun, too.

Kids Should be Nice to Each Other

I made a friend by being nice to him. Students should be nice to each other because they will not be your friend. They will not be your friend if you lie to them. They will not be your friend if you do stuff to them.

They will not be your friend if you don’t respect them. Also, They will not be your friend if you don’t be nice to them. They will not be your friend if you don’t respect their friends.

They will not be your friend if you act gross. They will not be your friend if you act selfish. They will be your if you act nice.

It is true that kids should be nice to kids. Kids disagree with my opinion because they like to be bad. My opinion will not change because if you’re nice, how will you get friends?

The Nissan Skyline is Cool

When I saw a Nissan Skyline turned on, it sounded like it had a lot of horse power and it went really fast on the freeway.

Once I was in a Nissan Skyline and everything was cool. One thing that was cool is the seats. I like how they are shaped. The seats are cool because you can put your feet in well to accelerate the car.

The Nissan Skyline is cool because you can drive it anywhere. You can put it on a boat and take it to Puerto Rico. You can take the Nissan Skyline on the freeway. You can change the tires of the Nissan Skyline.

The Nissan Skyline is cool because can put other things on the car. You can put other paint tattoos on the car. You can put on fancy rims and you can clean the fancy rims.

The Nissan Skyline is awesome. Why do people disagree with me? People maybe can agree with me if they can see the car.

Bugs are Horrible!

Bugs are wiggly. I hate bugs! Kids should not eat bugs.

Kids should not eat bugs. I saw a kid choke on a bug. I saw a man eat bugs. Also, I saw a spider eat bugs.

Kids should not eat bugs because it could taste bad. One day I saw a kid spitting bugs. I saw a dog spitting bugs. And I saw a cat spitting bugs.

Kids should not eat bugs because they could sting you. One day I saw a bee stinging a bug. You could get germs. You could bleed.

Do you hate bugs? I hate bugs. My opinion when I’m big won’t change because they’re gross. Some people like bugs because they think you could play with them. I disagree because when I was at a party my brother tried to play with a bug and it stung him.

Kids Should Do Their Homework

Should kids do their homework? I think that kids should do their homework.

It helps you learn. You learn a lot at school and at home. You practice at home. If you need help you can ask your mom or dad.

You can do homework with your parents. If you need help to spell, ask your parents. If you can do it, tell your parents. If you can do your homework by yourself you don’t have to tell your parents. You can do it with your mom.

If you are done with your homework, you can have fun. If you are done, you can play with your brother. If you are not done with your homework, you will not have fun. If you are done with your packet in your homework, you can have fun.

Kids must do their homework. If kids watch TV, they don’t do their homework but some people might like TV more than homework. I still think kids should do their homework because it helps you learn and practice.

Kids Should Not Watch TV

Have you ever watched TV? Did it make you tired? Did it make your eyes hurt? Well, I say kids should not watch TV.

Their eyes will start to hurt. Their eyes will be black. You eyes will be red inside and your eyes will be itchy and you will scratch your eyes.

TV makes kids late. They watch a lot of TV and they come late to school. They play video games a lot. They watch Pokémon.

TV makes kids tired. They play a lot of games on TV. They watch too many cartoons. Their eyes hurt.

Children must not watch TV. Some people disagree with me because they like to see a lot of TV. When I’m an adult, I won’t change my mind because I will say to my kids “You should not watch TV.”

Watching TV is Not Fun

One time my dad made me watch TV and I didn’t want to watch TV. So I went in my room and I didn’t do anything. When my brother knocked my door he came in and turned on the TV and I closed my eyes and went to sleep.This made me think of my opinion. Kids should not watch TV.

Watching TV is boring because on Sundays there are no channels to watch, sometimes on Saturdays they stop showing kid’s programs and show boring adult shows, and some channels have the same shows.

Sometimes you can’t see the TV because the TV isn’t working. You might be sad when the TV is not working, You might not watch TV anymore. When the channel’s not working you don’t understand the show.

When you watch TV you don’t move your body or get exercize. You might get fat. When you sit in front of the TV you get lazy.

Sometimes it is not fun to watch TV. Some people do think TV is not fun because they have toys that are from a show. I think TV is not fun because TV is boring, sometimes the TV isn’t working, and you don’t move your body or get exercise.

Hot Wheel Cars

Do you like hot wheels? I do. Hot wheels are cool. They have cool designs and they are fun to play with. I like hot wheels.

Hot wheels cars are cool because they are fast. I was playing with my hot wheels cars and it went so fast and I won.

Hot wheels cars have cool designs. One time I went to Walmart and I saw a car with cool designs.

Hot wheels are fun play with because you can play all day. I was playing and I brought a new car and it was fun.

Hot wheels are fun. Some people might disagree my opinion. My opinion is to try them because they can have fun. When I am an adult, I will disagree with my opinion because I wouldn’t like hot wheels because hot wheels are for kids.

School is Fun

Do you like school? I do. School is fun because you get to learn new things. You get to go outside. You get to meet new people. School is fun.

School is fun because you get to learn new things. In ESL we are learning about essays. In ESL we are also learning conclusions. And finally, we wrote a book about us when we were little.

You get to go outside. I like to go outside because you see your friends. I also like to play on the slide. I don’t get to do that at home. Finally, school is fun because you get to play basketball. I don’t get to do that at home.

You get to meet new people. You make friends by asking to be friends. Another reason why school is fun is you see new people you wonder who she or he is. Finally, school is fun because you can turn popular by having lots of friends.

I like school, but when I grow up, I won’t like school because I won’t be here. Some people think school is boring, but I know I like school.

Smoking is Bad

If you smoke, you die. Do you want to die soon? Smoking is bad.

Smoking is bad because you can die. If you smoke too much it gives you cancer and cancer is a disease. Ms. Walters’s great-grandpa died from smoking and it made her sad.

It makes your lungs turn black. I saw a TV show about smoking. It told me that your lungs turn black.

You get a cough. People who smoke can’t do sports because they can’t breathe.

It smells bad. Your head hurts. My dad was smoking and my head hurt. Your breath smells bad and your clothes smell bad.

Smoking is the worst thing. Some people say smoking is good, but it is bad. It can kill you. Even when I grow up, I will still think smoking is bad because my head will still hurt, people’s lungs will still turn black, and can people can still die.

Dogs are Good

Dogs are not always great listeners and sometimes they bite you or bark or run all over the house. That’s what other people think about dogs but I disagree. Dogs are nice.

Dogs are cool because they are cuddly. Also they are furry. They are sometimes small. They like you sometimes. When I hug my dog, he licks my face. He would wiggle his tail when he was happy.

Dogs are good because they roll around when you ask them. My dog, Champion, did roll around when I asked him. He ran all over the house when I asked him and when he came back he brought back his little bone.

They look cool with sweaters. For example, dogs look cool with clothes. Dogs look cool with everything. I sometimes took my dog to the mall and people thought it was cute. I used to put my clothes on my dog. He looked like he was chubby.

My opinion is going to change when I grow up because I will get older and I won’t like dogs. Some people disagree with me because they think dogs are mean. I say dogs are good.

Crocodiles are Cool

All crocodiles are dangerous. That’s what everybody says. That’s because nobody knows them well enough. I think they’re cool! I will tell you some cool things about crocodiles.

Crocodiles have sharp teeth. In Mexico, I have a crocodile that is 15 feet long and 20 inches wide. I’ve seen the tooth of a crocodile in the Mall of America. Also, in the museum, I saw the inside of the crocodile’s mouth.

The second cool thing is that attack their prey crazily. Like in Africa, they wildly attack gazelles. In Animal Planet, I saw a crocodile attack a zebra. In the zoo, I saw the keepers feeing the crocodiles. Additionally, I went to see a real life crocodile and it ate a tiny snake at the Mall of America.

And finally, the last cool thing about crocodiles is that they are good swimmers. Crocodiles swim as fast as a whale. They swim so fast that they can catch anything in the water.
So do you now think that crocodiles are dangerous? Think about it.

Reading is Run

I like reading when I know how to read words. It’s fun to know how to read. But it is boring if you don’t know how. You can understand what the characters say.

When you don’t know what the characters say it won’t be fun because you just look at the pictures. When the characters say a funny part and you don’t understand, it won’t be funny. When you know how to read, it is fun!

We can learn new words by reading a book. You can learn how to spell the easy and hard words. Today I learned how to spell Mississippi. You can read difficult words.
You can learn hard words by reading hard words. You can spell different words. You can spell “cool.” Also, you can spell “hot.”

Some people think reading is boring because they can’t read. My opinion is that reading is fun because I can read. My opinion won’t change because adults still read.

Soccer is the Best

I was playing soccer at the Southdale YMCA and headed the ball to Jordan and he headed the ball into the goal. I felt excited that he made a goal. Soccer is amazing!

First, you can get exercise. The goalie can catch and throw. You kick the ball. You can do tricks. For example, my dad can do tricks, like flips.

Second, you get to play soccer outside. You get to run outside. You get more exercise. If you played soccer in your house, you might break your mom’s dishes. I used to do that. My mom got angry.

Third, you get to get outside. You get to run outside. You get to breathe fresh air. Finally, you can make new friends if you play soccer at the park. When I was five years old, my friend and I used to play soccer with each other.

Soccer is awesome! Some people may like other sports because you can exercise outside. I say soccer is the best! Even when I grow up, I will still say soccer is amazing!
